Prithvi Highway disrupted by landslide opened for one-way traffic

Kathmandu: The Prithvi Highway that was blocked due to a landslide has now been cleared for one-way traffic.

The landslide debris that had been deposited on the highway at Nagdikhola, Ichchhakamana rural municipality-4 was removed at 11.30 a.m and the road opened for one-way traffic. The landslide occurred on Wednesday, blocking the highway.

Chief of the District Police Office, Superintendent Bhavesh Rimal said that the road would be opened for two-way traffic after allowing passage to the stranded vehicles on both ends of the road. The road has been disrupted since 7.35 a.m. this morning.
