Possibility of rain in some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces

Kathmandu: The monsoon wind has its influence throughout the country at present.

Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Meteorologist Saroj Pudasaini said the monsoon low-pressure area is close to the normal position. The weather is generally to completely cloudy in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces while remaining partly to generally cloudy in the rest of the provinces.

According to him, there is the possibility of the occurrence of heavy rain at one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces today. The maximum temperature today will be between 27 to 29 degrees Celsius and the minimum between 21.2 degrees Celsius. The weather will be partly to generally cloudy this afternoon.

There is possibility of light to moderate precipitation along with thunder and lightning at some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces, and at a few places of the rest of the provinces. Likewise, it will be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country tonight.

There are also chances of heavy rainfall at some places of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces said  Meteorological Forecasting Division.
