Man beats wife to death

Kathmandu: A man has been charged of beating his wife to death.

According to Superintendent of Police Nakul Pokharel of District Police Office, Habib Nadaf (45 years old) of Sonukhada village in Mahottari rural municipality-1, beat his wife to death. Nadaf has been charged of beating his wife Roshana Khatun (36) to death over a domestic dispute.

The incident took place on Saturday and police have suspected that she died due to lack of timely treatment. The body has been sent to Jaleshwar Regional Hospital for a post-mortem.

Meanwhile, the police are looking for the alleged murderer's husband who absconded after the fatal incident.
