Police charge missing nurse Mamata’s husband of murdering and hiding her body

Kathmandu: Police have charged Nepali nurse Mamata Kafle’s husband of murdering her and hiding her body.

Kafle went missing from Manassas Park, USA. Local Police arrested Kafle’s husband Naresh Bhatta after searching the house on Thursday. According to local media, Police formally charged Bhatta on murdering his wife and hiding her body.

Likewise, Kafle (28 years old) was last seen on July 31. Police Chief Mario Lugo said that Naresh was involved in the disappearance of Kafle and even didn’t cooperate with the police in the investigation.

The couple's daughter (1-year-old) has been kept under the protection of the Department Social Services.  Bhatta gave the missing complaint of his wife Kafle on August 3.

Police said that Naresh will be presented in the court on Friday.
