Prachanda: Clarification from Prime Minister required

Kathmandu: The Chairperson of the major opposition party CPN(Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda’ has said clarification is required from Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Addressing the parliament meeting on Tuesday, Prachanda demanded clarification from the Prime Minister. ‘If you want to ask for clarification in the whole case, you should ask Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, not patriotic board members who have a different opinion on electricity authority,’ said Prachanda.

Prachanda said, 'From this rostrum, I want to ask clarification from the Prime Minister whether protection of the authority is your is your responsibility or not. Shouldn’t the country executive be hesitant to stand up for mafias and defame the authority leadership from the rostrum?  deciding to dismiss the board member who said that revenue must be raised, you have this level of commitment to the interest group. Is this the intention and destiny of the two-thirds of the current government?'
