Dr Dhakal: Action taken without giving chance to clarify

Dr. Dhakal appealed, by sending a letter to the committee on Sunday, as per Article 57 of the party constitution.

 Kathmandu: Dr. Mukul Dhakal, who was suspended from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has applied to the party demanding to the reappointed to his old position.

Claiming that he was suspended against the law, Dr. Dhakal applied to the appeal committee of the party to reappoint him to the old designation.

Dr. Dhakal appealed, by sending a letter to the committee on Sunday, as per Article 57 of the party constitution. The party dismissed Dr. Dhakal from the position of General Secretary 35 days ago.

Similarly, Dr. Dhakal acknowledged Article 56 Sub-Article 4 of the party's constitution, which states the arranging of a clarification procedure. He said the provision of the statute to give a reasonable opportunity to submit clarification while taking action was not followed.

Dr Dhakal claimed that he was not asked for clarification while he was suspended from the party’s Central Member, General Secretary, and spokesperson.
