National Sports Council arranged a welcome rally for Govardhan, which started from the Airport.

Kathmandu: Nepal Para-Taekwondo Player Palesha Goverdham, who won a bronze medal for the first time in Nepali Sports history at the Paralympic Olympic Games, has returned.
Palesha won a bronze medal in the Women’s under 44 category, by defeating Serbia’s Marija Mičev by 15- 8. She was selected for the Paralympic Olympics after winning a gold medal at the Asia Qualifier in 2024.
National Sports Council arranged a welcome rally for Govardhan, which started from the Airport. The rally reached the National Sports Council via the route of Gaushala, Old Baneshwor, Maitidievi, Dillibazzar, Bagjbazzar, Bhadrakali, Shahid Gate, and Tripureshwor.
