Bodies of couple buried in landslide recovered
According to the Rural Municipality's Chairperson Bir Bahadur Giri, the couple's bodies were recovered on Sunday.


Kathmandu: The deceased bodies of a couple have been recovered, after being buried in a landslide at Barekot Rural Municipality -6, Dhuma.
According to the Rural Municipality's Chairperson Bir Bahadur Giri, the couple's bodies were recovered on Sunday. Prem Kumari Chalaune (38 years old) was a ward member, who was buried in a landslide on Saturday. Chalaune and her husband were buried.
Barekot Rural Municipality Ward Chairperson Dambar Bahadur Mahatare said ward member Prem Kumari and her husband died after they were buried in the landslide.
Likewise, the couple’s daughter Samjhana Chalaune (19) was also buried in the landslide. But was rescued and sent to Province Hospital for treatment through the Nepali Army Helicopter. Her treatment is going on.
