Truck plunges into Trishuli river

Kathmandu: A truck carrying cooking oil from Simara to Kathmandu has fallen into Trishuli River.

The truck with registration number Na. 6 Kha 6283 fell from the road into the Trishuli River below on Sunday. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhesraj Rijal of the District Police Office, Chitwan, the incident took place at Pachhiskilo in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29.

Police said a search has begun to trace the truck and find the driver and his helper, who are feared to have drowned. A team from the local police office in Muglin  arrived at the scene.
