Husband and wife buried in landslide

Kathmandu: Two people have died when a landslide buried their house in Lisangkhu Pakhar Rural Municipality of Sindhupalchok.

Chairperson of the Rural Municipality said the deceased have been Kaji Bahadur Lama, the former chairperson of Ward No. 3 and his wife, said Raju Lama, The fatal incident took place last night.

Meanwhile, the daily life of Sindhupalchok district has been affected due to incessant rains. The Sunkosi River has crossed the danger level while many roads have been blocked due to landslides along the Araniko Highway and other roads.
