Stressful situation at Biratnagar, after truck hits old man to death
According to Morang Police DSP Bed Joshi, 10 rounds of tear gas were fired to control the situation.

Kathmandu: The death of an old man, from a truck hit, has resulted stressful situation at Biratnagar.
After the accident, locals have demonstrated on ICP road demanding action against the driver and compensation to the family of the deceased.
They have been demonstrating by pelting stones. According to Morang Police DSP Bed Joshi, 10 rounds of tear gas were fired to control the situation.
Truck no Na Kha 2483 hit cyclist Shyam Shah (60 years old), of Biratnagar Metropolitan Municipality-18, on Thursday night. Shah died immediately after reaching Birat Nursing Home for treatment.
Police have arrested truck driver Deepak Yadav (30) of Sunsari Barju Rural Municipality-5. Yadav and the truck have been kept at the Area Police Office, Rani.
