Prachanda: We will compete on our own in upcoming elections

Kathmandu: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that the party would fight alone in the election of 2081 Bikram Sambat.

Addressing a program on Saturday, Chairperson Dahal commented on the participation of his party in the upcoming election.

'The CPN (Maoist Centre) seems to have vanished while going to the public by unifying with the CPN (UML) sometimes and sometimes with the Nepali Congress. We will compete on our own in the election of 2081. We have taken a resolution to establish the identification of CPN (Maoist Centre),' said Chairperson Prachanda.

The chairperson said that it was wrong to coin the CPN (Maoist Centre) as weak after moving out from the government.
