Nepal condemns Israel's attack upon peacekeeping forces in Lebanon

Kathmandu: Nepal has strongly condemned Israel's attack upon the UN peacekeeping forces in Lebanon.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) urged the authorities to investigate the case and guarantee.

Through the social media platform X, MoFA said, 'Nepal strongly condemns recent attacks on the UNIFIL peacekeepers & urges parties of the conflict to guarantee their safety & security.

Such actions must stop immediately & should be adequately investigated.'

Nepal is one of the 34 UNIFIL-contributing countries to issue the statement.
