5 friends murdered Krishna Kumar for not letting them meet a girl


Kathmandu: A group of 5 drug addicts have murdered their friend in Siraha.
Police preliminary investigation found that his friends murdered Krishna Kumar Mahara (21 years old) of Golbazar Municipality-13. The upper part of Mahara’s body on the bank of Gagan River in Sukhipur Municipality-10, on October 14 (Asoj 28).
Siraha Police Spokesperson DSP Birendra Kumar Paswan said the arrested ones are Santosh Kumar Mahara (27) of Dangraha Tol Golbazar Municipality-13, Rohit Kumar Mahara (28), Dharmendra Mahara (21), Dhiraj Kumar Ram (19) and Mohammad Jamshed.
The incident occurred on October 13 (Asoj 27) night. Krishna and Rohit went to the Durga Puja Mela at Shiva Chowk Sukhipur Municipality -10, over there they met other friends.
They planned to consume drugs and reached the river east of the fairground and consumed marijuana and narcotic Nitravet tablets.
According to DSP Paswan, Krishna shared with his friends that he was planning to call a girl, he knew. However, the dispute began after his friends insisted on meeting the girl.
DSP Paswan said 5 of them encircled Krishna, attacked him with sharp scissors on his neck and stomach, and brutally murdered him after the dispute reached the climax.
After the murder, they dug a hole on the west side of the Gagan River covered Krishna’s upper part of the body with sand, and absconded.
District Police Office, Siraha said they arrested them on October 18 (Kartik 2). Police said the investigation is going on after extending their remand from the court in the case of murder.
