Student dies after being hit by school bus in Dhanusha

Kathmandu: A girl has died after being hit by the bus at Dhanusha.

Arohi Kumari Mandal (11 years old) student of Ram Janaki Boarding School located in Dhanauji Rural Municipality-2, was hit by the bus while going to the school on Tuesday.

Bus no BA 3 PA 9065 of Janjyoti Boarding School hit Mandal. Dhanusha Police Spokesperson DSP Barun Bahadur Singh said that Mandal who was seriously injured after being hit by the bus, died in the Janakpur Provincial Hospital, during treatment process.

After the incident, outraged locals took the students out from the bus and set the fire in the bus. Police said that further investigation about the incident is going on.
