KMC designates places to sell flowers for Tihar (Including List)

Kathmandu: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has designated places to sell flowers for Tihar.

KMC Mayor Balendra ‘Balen’ Shah unveiled the names of the places through his social media.  KMC has banned the selling of plastic flowers. Mayor Shah said the ban was imposed to encourage local farmers to sell native flowers.

For selling flowers Mall, Mart, Park, Party Palace and Centers have been arranged. Mayor Shah said if there is any problem in transporting flowers then Metro Police would facilitate. 46 places have been designated for selling flowers.

The name list of the designated locations for selling flowers are:
