3 arrested with 5.7-kg gold from TIA Airport

Kathmandu: Three people have been arrested at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) for possessing 5.7 kg of gold.

According to the Office of the Armed Police Force Nepal TIA, A Chinese national and two Myanmar citizens who arrived in Kathmandu from Sharjah via an Air Arabia flight were arrested on Tuesday evening. Investigation into the incident is underway by keeping the accused at the TIA Customs Office.
