Five including driver died in pick-up van accident

Kathmandu: Five persons, including the driver, have died, when a pick-up van en route to Baglung Bazaar from Chishti of Jaimini Municipality-8 in Baglung met with an accident near Byarthala of Jaimini-7.

Pick -up van met an accident on Monday morning. Police Inspector and Information Officer at the District Police Office, Keshav Thapa said that the pickup van fell more than 100 meters below the road.

He said the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. One person in the pickup van has been rescued alive. Further details of the incident are awaited.
