17 people injured in bus accident at Hetauda

Kathmandu: 17 people have been injured in a bus accident at Makwanpur.

A bus heading towards Pokhara from Birgunj met with an accident on the east-west highway near Churiamai Temple, located in Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City 15.

District Police Station, Makwanpur said bus number Ga 2 Kha 1621 fell into the ditch on the side of the road on Friday after its brake failed.

Likewise, injured ones are of  Bara, Parsa Chitwan, Kailali and Syangja. Police said those injured ones were taken to Hetauda Hospital.

Among 18 passengers on the bus, 17 passengers including the driver were injured in the bus accident. Police said further investigation regarding the accident is going on.
