By-Election Update: 25 % vote turnout till 11:00 a.m.

Kathmandu: A total of 25 % of votes have been cast for 41 local-level posts in the ongoing local-level election.

According to Election Commission Spokesperson Nita Pokharel Aryal, the voting is going on peacefully in the polling booths.

The commission mobilized security personnel and Election Officers to conclude the election peacefully.

A total of 32 offices have been set for chief election officers while six offices others in the related local levels for election officers to fill up 44 vacant seats across the country.
