Local Level By-Election voting concludes

Kathmandu: Local Level By-Election voting for the post of 41 has concluded.

Around 62% votes were cast, however, further information is yet to come. Election Commission Spokesperson Nita Pokharel Aryal said around 61% of voting was completed by 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.

By-election held for 41 posts, in the designation of 1 Municipal Mayor, 1 Deputy Mayor, 2 Rural Municipality Ward Chairperson, 4 Vice Chairperson and 33 Ward Chairperson.

376 candidates from 20 political parties and independents are competing in the by –election.
