Kathmandu: CPN (Maoist Centre) has concluded that the public approved the party’s decision to compete alone in the election without any alliance.

The meeting of officers, held at the party Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda's residence on Thursday, reached the conclusion.

Speaking after the meeting, Spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota said the review of the recent by-election indicates a good image of CPN (Maoist Centre) among the public. He said that the party competed with unity for the first time, after the election of 2064 Bikram Sambat.

Likewise, Spokerson Sapkota said the party will focus on the municipal convention and warning assembly. He said the party will begin the preparation for the 2084 election.
