Home Minister Lekhak: Govt. committed to sustainable development, good governance

Kathmandu: Minister for Home Affairs Ramesh Lekhak has asserted that the government was committed to establishing sustainable development, peace, security, good governance, and prosperity in the country.

Addressing a press meeting organized by the Nepal Press Union at Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) Nawalpur on Saturday, Minister Lekhak shed light upon the development plans.

He stressed, 'The UML-Nepali Congress coalition government was formed after development activities could not take place and good governance was not established in the country.'

On a different note, the Home Minister mentioned that the recent China visit of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was successful, adding Nepal has harmonious and cordial relations with neighboring countries.
