Two die in road mishap

Kathmandu: Two persons have died in a road accident at Aandhikhola of Anbukhaireni rural municipality-1 in Tanahun district.

Police Inspector at District Police Office, Tanahu, Munendra Thapa said the deceased have been identified as truck driver Bhesh Raj Parajuli (30 years old), of Udayapur and his helper Bijay Bishwokarma (28) of Rautahat.

The accident took place when the truck A2-0300-1KH 2448 heading towards Dumre from Anbukhaireni hit a jeep (Bagmati Province 01-001 Ya 1659) coming from the opposite direction.

Police said the truck had fallen down from the bridge. However, four passengers in the jeep were safe.
