Kathmandu: The death toll of the people, who have been killed in a plane crash in South Korea, has reached 167.

The National Fire Agency updated the death toll figure to 167.

The BBC cited the country’s fire service as saying the plane carrying 181 passengers, including six crew members, crashed at Muan International Airport in South Korea.

Two flight crew were rescued from the wreckage and taken to hospital.

1,562 personnel have been deployed for the rescue. According to the agency, 490 fire department employees and 455 police officers are also on the site.
