RSP Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane released on bail

Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane has been released from the custody of the Kaski police.

Lamichhane, an accused in the Surya Darshan Cooperative fraud case, was released on bail of Rs 6.5 million.

Earlier, the District Court, Kaski, ordered him to be released on bail.

Lamichhane, who is also a former home minister, was arrested by the police from Kathmandu on October 2 and taken to Pokhara.
