Snowfall in Humla

Kathmandu:  Humla has witnessed snowfall on Thursday.

Snowfall taking place in high-altitude areas of the district including Namkha rural municipality since this morning.

Ward chairperson of Namkha rural municipality-6, said one inch of snow is piled up at Simkot and all wards of Namkha rural municipality are witnessing the snowfall.

Similarly, heavy snowfall is now taking place in the high mountainous regions Nyalu, Nara and Lapcha area. The district experienced snowfall on November 26 for the first time this year.
