7 parties issue joint statement; Call for parliament session

Kathmandu: The opposition and 7 political parties in the government have issued a joint statement.

Issuing a joint statement on Friday, CPN (Maoist Centre), CPN (Unified Socialist), Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), National People’s Font and Aam Janata Party demanded to call for parliament session.

The parties claim that the government exhibited an attack on the essence and sentiment of the Constitution and mocked the parliamentary system by issuing the ordinance and displayed dangerous, arbitrary, and authoritarian tendencies.
