Man on Interpol Red Notice arrested from Oman

Kathmandu: A fugitive convicted in a human trafficking case has been arrested from Oman.

According to Nepal Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector of Police Dinesh Kumar Acharya, Binod Paudel from Badhaiyatal rural municipality in Bardiya and lately a resident of Tokha municipality-3 in Kathmandu.

Earlier, the Nepal Police issued the Red Corner Notice against him in Interpol. He was arrested in Oman and deported to Nepal on Wednesday.

Acharya has been already handed to the squad from the Anti-Human Trafficking Bureau for further action.
