Defense argument of Rabi Lamichhane's lawyers underway

Kathmandu:  The detention hearing on the case of misappropriation of the Supreme Saving and Loan Cooperative fund and organized crime has been going on.

Information Officer Ananta Raj Marasini said, under the single bench of Justice Prahlad Kumar Yogi, defendant Lamichhane's lawyers are placing their arguments.

Senior Advocate Raman Shrestha is placing a defense argument for Lamichhane.

On Sunday, a case was filed against 42 people, including Lamichhane, in District Court Rupandehi. The case has demanded more than 40 million (4 crore) rupees from Lamichhane.
