Rabi Lamichhane’s statement recording underway

Kathmandu: The statement recording of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane in Sahara Chitwan Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited’s fund embezzlement case has been going on.

Chitwan District Court Information Officer Amrit Bishwakarma said Lamichhane's detention hearing is underway on Wednesday.

Former Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Lamichhane’s case fell under the single bench of Justice Dayaram Dhakal. He appeared in court for recording his statement on Wednesday morning.

On Tuesday, a case was filed in Chitwan District Court, against 15 people, including Lamichhane for embezzling the funds of Sahara Chitwan Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited.
