18 injured in Dhulikhel bus accident

Kathmandu: Eighteen people were injured when a passenger bus met with an accident at Sharadabatas of Dhulikhel Municipality-10 in Kavrepalanchowk on Tuesday morning.

According to the police, the bus, with registration number Bagmati Province-3-01-005 Kha 9942, overturned on the roadside after the driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle.

A total of 24 people, including the driver and the assistant, were on board the bus at the time of the accident. Among the injured, seven sustained moderate injuries while the remaining received minor injuries.

According to District Police Office's Deputy Superintendent of Police, Min Bahadur Ghale, injured are being treated in the Dhulikhel Hospital.
