Scuffle between Kotihom Organizer and Metro Police at Pokhara

Kathmandu: A scuffle has occurred between 2 parties, after the Manav Sewa Foundation began to perform land puja for Kotihom at Lakeside, Pokhara.

There was a program to perform land puja for Koti Hom by the Foundation at Barahighat, which comes under Nepal Trust.  A scuffle occurred between Metro police and the organizer on Friday, after the Pokhara Metropolitan attempted to stop the rituals of land puja.

The Metro police said the organizers did not take permission for the puja. Police said some people were injured in the scuffle.

Metro police and police have been mobilized in the Barahighat. Metropolitan is not allowing to perform the land puja.
