Kathmandu: The security has been tightened at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) for the former King Gyanendra Shah.

Police are checking the passengers by stopping them at the Golden Gate of the TIA. Other vehicles, except the 2-wheelers with press and 2 other passes, have been stopped in Golden Gate.

RPP to exhibit its strength by welcoming former King

The passengers are facing difficulties in walking from the Golden Gate to the airport. The strict checking of the 4-wheelers is also underway.

Police said entry is prohibited for those who don’t have tickets and other documents.
