Kathmandu: The Bhat-Bhateni Supermarket in Koteshwor, which was damaged during the demonstration of monarchists on Friday, has resumed operations.
Protesters had hurled stones at the building’s glass windows and vandalized vehicles and stalls within the premises. Incidents of looting and theft also took place at Bhatbhateni.

By Saturday morning, cleanup efforts had begun, with broken glass being cleared. The Supermarket has resumed services, accelerating repair and sanitation work.
A vegetable stall has been set up within the premises for sales.
