RPP to demonstrate in Kathmandu; Demanding release of arrested leaders

Kathmandu: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) will be demonstrating for the release of arrested leaders in Kathmandu.

RPP Spokesperson Mohan Kumar Shrestha said the protest is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. at Maitighar Mandala on Monday.

2 people, including 1 journalist, died in a pro-monarchy protest on Friday. Vandalism and arson took place in Tinkune and other places.

RPP Senior Vice-Chairperson Rabindra Mishra and General Secretary Dhawal Shumsher  Rana were arrested in the incident. RPP demands to release the arrested ones and announce deceased ones as Martyrs.
