Kathmandu: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairperson Rajendra Lingden has warned that if governance does not improve, the republic could be overturned.
Speaking at Monday’s parliamentary session, RPP Chairperson Lingden accused republicans of replacing the monarchy with a system of corruption and plunder.
'The people clearly understand what kind of loot has been unleashed after removing the king. Who expanded their businesses immediately after the monarchy was abolished? If this continues and governance does not improve, the republic will collapse,' said Chairperson Lingden.
Lingden also demanded the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the Tinkune incident.
