Brother dies, sister injured in road accident

Kathmandu: A teenager has died while his younger sister was injured in a road accident that took place along the Prithivi Highway on Saturday late afternoon.

According to the District Police Office, Tanahu, Manish Alemagar (18 years old) of Byas Municipality-6, died after the scooter he was pillion riding with his 15-year-old sister Anisha Alemagar, was hit by a tipper truck at Phusrekhola in Myagde Rural Municipality-1.

Manish was declared dead upon arrival by doctors at the Provincial Hospital, Damauli while his sister Anisha sent to Gandaki Medical College for further treatment. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
