CPN (Maoist Centre)'s "Terai–Madhesh Awareness Campaign" resumes from Gaindakot
The campaign, which had initially started from Jhapa, was postponed after reaching Chitwan on Chaitra 8 (March 21).


Nawalpur: The CPN (Maoist Centre)’s "Maoists with the People: Postal Highway-Focused Terai–Madhesh Awareness Campaign" has been resumed from Gaindakot in Nawalpur.
The campaign, which had initially started from Jhapa, was postponed after reaching Chitwan on Chaitra 8 (March 21).
For the campaign, a team led by CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ arrived in Gaindakot on Monday evening.
Chairman Prachanda stated that the campaign was resumed from Nawalpur to coincide with the Nepali New Year. He expressed his happiness at being able to resume the campaign from Gaindakot.
On Tuesday morning, the team led by Chairperson Prachanda officially restarted the campaign from the Gaindakot Pumping Scheme Drinking Water site in Gaindakot-4.
According to Prakash Adhikari, Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre)'s Gaindakot Municipal Committee, the team undertook a five-kilometer "morning walk" as part of the launch.
