Hearing of Rabi Lamichhane’s writ concludes

Kathmandu: The hearing of the habeas corpus, filed by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane, has been concluded.

The hearing concluded under the single bench of Supreme Court Justice Abdul Aziz Musalman on Tuesday. On his behalf of Lamichhane, his wife Nikita Paudel, filed a habeas corpus at the Court on Sunday.

Likewise, the writ that fell under the bench of Justice Hari Prasad Phuyal was kept unseen on Monday.

Lamichhane, who was released on bail of 10 million (1 crore) rupees by the District Court Rupandehi on the Supreme Saving and Credit Cooperative fraud case, was ordered to be sent in pre-trial custody by the Tulsipur High Court.
