Resham Chaudhary arrested from Pragya Pratisthan

Kathmandu: Resham Chaudhary, patron of the Nagarik Unmukti Party, has been arrested.

Police, dressed in civilian attire, arrested Chaudhary from the Pragya Pratisthan, Kamaladi, on Wednesday.

Chaudhary's brother, Mithu Lal Chaudhary, said to Nepal Views, 'All of a sudden, he has been arrested and taken to Dillibazaar jail. We are here.'

He was arrested when he arrived in Pragya Pratisthan to attend the announcement ceremony of the unification of the Nagarik Unmukti and Janmat Party.

Police have taken Chaudhary to the Dillibazaar Jail.
