President Paudel: Constitutional amendment process would move forward based on consensus

Kathmandu: President Ramchandra Paudel has presented the government's proposed policies and programs at the joint session of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly.

He presented the policies and programs during the joint meeting of Parliament held on Friday.

While reading the policies and programs, President Paudel stated that the constitutional amendment process would move forward based on consensus.

He said, “The constitution will be reviewed, its strengths will be reinforced, and shortcomings seen in its implementation will be addressed through amendments based on mutual agreement.”
