9 injured in a road accident in Makawanpur

A police team led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Bharat Kumar Khadka reached the spot and rescued the victims.

Kathmandu: Nine persons have been injured, and six among them were in critical condition when a passenger vehicle met with an accident on the internal road section at Athare of Raksirang rural municipality-9.

Himal Basnet (16 years old), Buddhiman Ghalan (35), Dil Bahadur Ghalan (75), his wife Phulmaya Ghalan (70), Rup Bahadur Raut ( 38), and Deepak Khadka (48) of Raksirangka-9 were critically injured in the road mishap. Surya Adhikari( 50), Kumar Tamang( 14), and Sujan Tamang (28) of Raxirang Rural Municipality-9 sustained minor injuries in the accident.

A police team led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Bharat Kumar Khadka reached the spot and rescued the victims. The injured are undergoing treatment at Manahari Hospital. On Wednesday morning, the vehicle (Ba 15 Cha 1333) en route to Manahari from Khairang of Makawanpur was involved in an accident.
