Kathmandu: The office of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the armed forces have been permitted to undertake “corresponding actions” against an Indian attack.

The Guardian news cited Reuters as saying the permission was granted after India launched a missile strike in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir on Wednesday.

The missile strike is considered as most serious fight between 2 nations for decades. Pakistan officials said India targeted around 9 sites, describing them as "terrorist infrastructure."

Earlier, the Pakistan Spokesperson said 26 people died and 46 were injured in an attack.
