Kathmandu: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has sought the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak. The party’s office bearers’ meeting concluded that Lekhak should resign over the visit visa scandal.

Party Spokesperson Agni Sapkota informed that the meeting decided the Home Minister should step down to facilitate the investigation. 'Our party's meeting also concluded that Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak should resign to cooperate with the investigation,' said Spokesperson Sapkota.

CPN (Maoist Centre) concluded that Home Minister  Lekhak must resign to ensure an independent and impartial investigation. 'Since an investigation has already begun by state agencies, in such a situation, he should resign to clear the way so that influence, power, and reach cannot be used,' Sapkota said.
