CPN (Maoist Centre): Home Minister must resign; Otherwise parliament will not function

Kathmandu: The opposition parties have demanded the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak. CPN (Maoist Centre) MP Barshaman Pun.

Speaking as soon as the parliamentary session began, MP Pun called for the Home Minister’s resignation. He said that the Visit Visa scandal at Tribhuvan Airport would not have been possible without political support.

He said, 'In various meetings, he (Ramesh Lekhak) talks a lot about morality. Various security and investigative bodies are under his jurisdiction. So, please resign and clear the way. We are not saying he is guilty right now. Otherwise, Parliament will not function.'

He also questioned, "Who is the big fish?"
