Kathmandu: More than 500 Nepalis traveling to Qatar with Nepal Airlines and Himalayan Airlines have been left stranded at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

The cancellations came after Iran launched an attack on Qatar, prompting the suspension of flights across the Gulf region.

The passengers have complained that the airlines have shown no concern for their plight.
