Kathmandu: The structures washed away by flooding in the Roshi–Kolanti area of Panauti Municipality, Kavrepalanchok, have still not been rebuilt.
From September 26 to 29, a flood induced by the three days of heavy rains caused significant damage in the Roshi–Kolanti area of Panauti Municipality.

The flooding and landslides claimed the lives of 18 people in the area.
A total of 586 houses were destroyed, and 944 homes suffered partial damage. Now, with the arrival of the monsoon and ongoing heavy rains, flooding has started to occur again in the area.
