Kathmandu: People are celebrating Bhai Tika on Thursday. The Hindu community celebrates Bhai Tika on the last day of Yama Panchak every year.
This day is special for brothers and sisters. On this day, sisters worship their brothers and pray for their long lives. Along with putting Tika on the brother’s forehead, sisters also apply Sapta Rangi Tika (Tika of seven different colors).
Likewise, people who don’t have brothers and sisters visit the Balgopaleshwor temple to receive and offer Tika.
Many people without siblings have been visiting the Balgopaleshwor temple since early morning to receive and offer Tika.
