Imran Khan arrested in Islamabad

Kathmandu: Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has been arrested in Islamabad.

Khan was arrested while appearing in the court in Islamabad on Tuesday.

He appeared in the  Islamabad High Court for corruption-related allegations. According to police, the paramilitary force arrested Khan for Al-Qadir Trust case.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insad (PTI)  confirmed the arrest of Khan through Twitter.

Hammad Azhar tweeted that the violence had been reported against Khan during his arrest.
